Our spring honey is a warm tribute to the first awakening of the land. As the hills turn green, our bees busy themselves among the golden dandelions and the fresh, sweet clover spreading across the fields. They also visit the early maple blooms and the fragrant flowers of the locust trees to gather a light, delicate nectar that captures the very essence of the season. This gentle harvest is more than just honey; it is the flavor of new beginnings and sunshine.

The Rich Fall Harvest

While the breeze cools and the light softens over Logan, Ohio, our workers begin their last gathering ritual. The autumn yield is a triumph of dark gold and deep profiles, sourced from the resilient flora that marks our hills.

The colony targets the goldenrod and wild asters, yielding a thick, grounding nectar with medicinal notes. We watch the petals wilt with thanks, knowing their legacy will soon be integrated into our protective autumnal skincare balms.

Final Nectar Flow

Carrie's Watchful Eye

My favorite thing to do is follow our honey bees. I watch what they’re harvesting and what they bring home, noticing every bloom they land on. I trust that whatever they carry back to the hive is good for us too. This is how I choose the herbs that go into my body products—by following the bees, the seasons, the blooms, and the pollen and nectar they lovingly bring home to their hives.

Watching the hives demands quiet focus, tracking flights toward early dogwood blossoms or the heavy clusters of summer elderberry.

Step 1: From Hive to Skincare

Step 2: Timely Gathering

We take only what is extra, bottling the specific fragrant essences of the sun’s path—from light spring dew to deep fall resins.

Step 3: Herbal Integration

To finish, we blend this captured history with local herbs for skincare that respects the very soil of the Logan valley.
