Carrie Me Away...

Hands, Hive & Heart

Before the bees and the blooms, there was the canvas. My life has always been defined by creation—the urgent need to translate the beauty of the natural world into something tangible. As an artist, I learned to see the complex architecture of a petal and the subtle shift of light at dusk. This creative lens eventually shaped the very philosophy of Rumble Hill: that skincare is not just chemistry, but a handcrafted art form inspired by the sun's warmth and the bees' tireless devotion.

Personal handcrafted creations from our hill to your home.

Roots & Values

Nurturing the Soil

We believe that health begins in the earth. By regenerating our 42 acres, we cultivate a future where the land heals us as much as we heal it.

Ethics of the Hive

The bees are our teachers. We practice gentle beekeeping, taking only what is surplus and honoring the sacred rhythms of the hive.

Nature-Centered Care

Grounded in my ICU nursing roots, every creation is a testament to quiet, restorative care, crafted with hands tuned to nature's pulse.

Meet the Maker

Keeper of Bees, Land & Gentle Remedies

A Philosophy of Gentle Care

My day begins with the quiet hum of the apiary. Living on our 42-acre sanctuary in Logan, Ohio, isn't just about space; it's about breath. After years in the demanding environment of ICU nursing, the land taught me a different kind of restoration—one that is slow, rhythmic, and deeply connected to the seasons.

I believe in nature-led care. Whether I'm tending to the hives or crafting batch-processed salves, my approach remains gentle and honoring. We share this homestead with the bees, taking only what is surplus and ensuring the earth is healthier for our presence. Here, we don't just harvest; we listen. This land was also watchfully guarded by my beloved Moose, who stayed by my side through my hardest ICU days, then proudly patrolled these 42 acres chasing off coyotes, keeping his brother Blueberry in check, and patiently tolerating his sister Lady B.

In loving memory of Moose, the steadfast guardian of this hill and our hearts.

The Rumble Hill Legacy

From ICU Night Shifts to Sunlit Hives

Gentle Beekeeping

Sustainable Harvest

Pollinator Protection

We practice a philosophy of non-intervention, prioritizing the health and rhythm of the colony over commercial yield.

Taking only what is surplus, we ensure our bees have everything they need to flourish through the Ohio winters naturally.

Our 42 acres serve as a biodiverse sanctuary, where we cultivate indigenous flora to support the health of all pollinators.

Small Batch Creations

Slow-Processed & Sun-Inspired

What began as a quiet journey into beekeeping has naturally blossomed into Rumble Hill Apothecary. Our business grew with the seasons, evolving into a collection of slow-processed skincare that honors the slow rhythms of the land. Each artisanal creation is inspired by the warmth of the sun and the diligent magic of our bees, handcrafted in micro-batches to ensure every drop carries the pure essence of our Logan homestead.

A Place to Root

The move to our 42-acre land in Logan, Ohio, was more than just a change of scenery; it was a return to the earth that finally grounded my soul. After years of witnessing the strain on human health in the ICU, sinking my hands into this soil offered a literal grounding. Here, amidst the rolling hills and quiet woods, Rumble Hill Apiary was born. The pace of the land taught me the wisdom of slow growth, turning our homestead into a sanctuary where every creation is inspired by the natural rhythms of the sun and our bees.
